Joe - President/Founder

Joe’s role as President includes being responsible for managing the organization and its finances, developing and implementing the nonprofit's strategic plan, and working with the board of directors to ensure that the organization achieves its goals.

Joe brings experience to the board as a Bourbon Steward and president of the Maumee Valley Whiskey Society. He also has experience starting non-for-profit charities and is retired Air Force.

Josh - Vice President/Founder

Josh’s role as Vice President is to manage employees and the day-to-day activities of the organization. This includes developing responsibilities for the staff, hiring employees, developing and mentoring staff, as well as ensuring the organization accomplishes tasks to meet its overall goals.

Kim - Events Officer

Kim’s role as Events Officer includes being responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events. The Events Officer works closely with the Board of Directors, and other staff members to ensure the success of all events.

Kim has over 27 years experience in the professional services industry where she's led large, global teams. 
Kim is a leader in a global professional services company where she focuses on technology in the healthcare industry, and she's served on other nonprofit boards.  Kim is a Bourbon Women ambassador where she plans events for that community as well. She is also a whiskey enthusiast and an advocate for giving back to the community.  As a breast cancer survivor, she knows first-hand how the love and support of family, friends and community can bolster the spirit and provide strength.

Lance - Public Affairs Officer/Founder

As Founder and Public Affairs Officer, Lance leads communications efforts to share the organization’s mission, activities, and accomplishments with the public. He manages media outreach, develops and implements public relations campaigns, and oversees the organization’s digital presence, including the website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms.

Lance brings more than 20 years of marketing and brand-building expertise to the board, coupled with experience in website design, video production, and digital engagement. In addition to his work with the organization, Lance serves as a Risk Manager at the University of Illinois and has two decades of experience in the insurance industry. His professional background in risk management and marketing provides valuable insight into advancing the organization’s mission.

Bryan - Treasurer

Bryan’s role as as Treasurer includes financial management and/or oversight. As treasurer he will manage or oversee the management of the financial affairs of the organization, reconciling bank statements, managing cash flow and reporting to the board of directors.

Earl - Logistics Officer

Earl’s role as Logistics Officer includes forecasting, procuring, and inventorying materials while striving for cost-effectiveness. He coordinates closely with our retailer to manage timely member distributions and assist with the shipping process. Earl also communicates with members to address shipping issues and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

With 14 years of experience in the energy industry, specifically in midstream crude logistics, Earl has worked alongside industry professionals to schedule and meet demanding transportation deadlines while utilizing established procedures and best practices. He has been a member of Barrels for Hope since its inception.

Dan - Secretary/Founder

Dan’s role as secretary includes sending the meeting agenda and any necessary documents to be reviewed before the meetings and collecting and consolidating all discussion topics from board meetings.
